Showcasing Shared Value at the Corporate Eco Forum
Hot on the heels of another successful Monetization Working Group (MWG) biannual meeting, leaders from MWG will showcase our unique approach to quantifying shared value at the fall meeting of the Corporate Eco Forum (CEF). The CEF is an invitation-only membership organization for large corporations that are committed to promoting sustainability, and its roster is a veritable “Who’s Who” of the corporate world, with members hailing from across the spectrum of industry.
Tensie Whelan, Director of the Center for Sustainable Business at the NYU Stern School of Business will be welcoming the crowd of sustainability leaders with a lunch presentation on MWG concepts. John Platko, Executive Vice President at Antea Group, will follow, walking participants through Building A Better Business Case for More Sustainable Decisions -- a workshop session to explore developing sustainable decisions to tackle some of the most pressing sustainability issues facing the corporate world today.
In the workshop, participants will be encouraged to apply MWG concepts and tools to sustainability initiatives that run the gamut from alternative energy to sustainable packaging. Exercises will be conducted in peer groups, which will foster unique perspective-sharing and collaborative problem-solving. Participants will gain an understanding of not just the concepts and tools of the MWG, but also a shared understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing their peers today in the sustainability space.
