The Monetization Working Group Will Convene on October 26-27, 2016 in Atlanta

FEMSA Foundation and Antea Group wishes to thank all those planning to participate in the Monetization Working Group's (MWG) second full meeting of 2016, to be held on October 26-27 in Atlanta (with a special thank you to Kimberly-Clark for hosting this event at their corporate headquarters).

During the Atlanta Meeting, participants will be updated on progress and developments made since the Group’s last meeting (in Mexico City earlier this year), including the:

  • Welcoming of three new participants to the MWG - CEMEX, Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM - Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education) and NYU Stern Business School;

  • Development MWG’s preliminary 5-yr vision of success;

  • Completion of a partial roadmap to deliver on that vision, including progress on four critical items identified for the remainder of 2016, namely the:

  • Launch of a ‘Learning Module’ to offer a web-based, self-paced curriculum that shares fundamental learnings from the MWG’s efforts to date;

  • Kickoff of a collaborative new project which address the social and stakeholder beneficiary dimensions of investing in sustainability;

  • Design of communication tools to help all involved with the MWG better articulate our work and the benefits of participating in the Group; and

  • Commissioning of research with executive business leaders to document and demonstrate the long-term relevance and value of the MWG’s work.

More information on all these topics will be shared when we gather in Atlanta along with an update from the Group’s ongoing project teams, including the ‘corporate pilot’ participants Kellogg’s; FEMSA; and Kimberly-Clark.
