Who We Are: The Monetization Working Group (MWG) is a cross-sectoral group of industry, NGO and private sector leaders focused on enabling better, more sustainable business decisions. Together we solve practical challenges associated with building the business case for sustainability.
Our Vision: Business leaders make excellent business decisions through the lens of sustainability which enables them to deliver unparalleled environmental, social, and economic value. Their decisions on how sustainability initiatives are funded, designed, and implemented are vastly improved.
What We Do: We solve problems and navigate obstacles, sharing our solutions through presentations, webinars, and other ‘open source’ channels. We also help find ways to further reduce uncertainties and eliminate common biases in sustainability decision making, create new ‘rules of thumb’ that speed and simplify more sustainable decisions, and build the capability and capacity of our participants, extending the MWG’s reach and scaling our impact.
Enabling better, more sustainable decisions
The MWG facilitates practical, participant-selected and funded projects which solve real-world problems in pursuit of more sustainable decisions.
